Do you have a creative child who loves playing pretend? With the help of a professional performer students will spend the week writing a show complete with costumes and simple props and set pieces, play games and learn a thing or two about performing along the way! There will be a small performance at the end of the session (either in person, recorded or live streamed depending on regulations at the time) where the students can share what they have learned with friends and family. Please pack a peanut free snack and water bottle and dress ready to move around!

Pilates is a type of mind-body exercise that promotes not only strength, tone, and flexibility, but also improves your posture and reduces stress. The Mat Pilates method aims to strengthen your core or “powerhouse”, lengthen the spine, build muscle tone, and increase body awareness. Mat Pilates exercises are based on the resistance provided by your body's weight and gravity, and the workout is performed on the ground using an exercise mat. Please bring your own mat, and water bottle. 7 weeks

Lets get moving this summer! This week is all about discovering new sports and revisiting old favourites. From soccer, basketball and track to tennis, ping pong and more! You can expect crafts, activities and games to build physical literacy, confidence, imagination and friendships. Camp includes splash park and playground time (weather permitting) Special guest Alien Inline will do a workshop on rollerblading, how cool! After registration, you will receive a waiver to be completed confirming registration. One week prior to camp you will receive information including a packing list, camp schedule and any other important info. Ages 5 - 10. This week your child will use their imagination and create structures that you never thought possible. You can expect crafts, games and interactive activities to keep your child moving and engaged. Lets get performing! Do you like to sing, dance act? This camp is all about performing, we’ll try new talents and perfect our own, this camp is for those who love to be on stage. Whether you are a comedian, or have a special skill like gymnastics or cup stacking, we are here to encourage your abilities. A talent show will be hosted at the end of the week. You can expect crafts, games and interactive activities to keep your child moving and engaged. Each week will include a workshop with a special guest instructor. Get ready for an adventure as our campers improve their accuracy with models that work on target practice, and learn about probability as they build Beyblades and build their own arena!  Tap into your inner ENGINEER while building Ferris Wheels, and Flying Chairs for our day at the Amusement Park, and Race Cars for our day at the track!  The fun week ends with building their own Lego mixer and making Lemonade!

Young Engineers Summer camps are geared for children in GRADES 1-5 (entering grade 1 in the upcoming school year).

Sportball’s play-based approach uses creative coaching techniques to captivate imaginations and reduce performance anxiety. All games, activities and instructions have a purpose and expected outcome. Our goal is to build your child’s confidence, competence and Physical Literacy. Our programs target three key areas of Childhood development, helping them build skills for life! Each child will receive a jersey, soccer ball and socks for their classes. Class is hosted at the bottom of the toboggan hill. The class will run (even in rain) unless there is a storm.
